The company
Long Island Sunroom Co. started in Anthony's garage in Massapequa in 2007. He'd spent 12 years as a master carpenter and architectural glass specialist — working on commercial curtain wall systems, high-end residential additions, and a long stretch doing insurance restoration work after a major storm season.
What he kept seeing: homeowners who got beautiful brochures and mediocre rooms. Permits that took forever because the contractor didn't know the local building department. Installations where the crew changed every day and nobody was accountable for the result.
So he started taking on sunroom projects himself, handling every permit application personally, and showing up to every job. That's still the model.
Today the company employs nine people — seven in the field and two in the office. Anthony still shows up on every job. He still pulls permits. He still does the walkthroughs.
The punchline hasn't changed: We install the room. You enjoy it for 30 years.
Who you'll work with
Anthony Pastore, Founder & Lead Designer. Born and raised in Massapequa. Third-generation Long Islander. Licensed in both Nassau and Suffolk counties. 26 years in construction. He does the estimates, designs the rooms, and shows up during installation.
Maria Pastore, Office Manager & Client Relations. Handles permits, scheduling, supplier coordination, and client communication. The reason projects actually run on time.
Danny Cruz, Lead Installer (14 years). Danny has been with the company since 2011 and has installed more sunrooms than anyone else on Long Island. He trains the crew and sets the quality standard on site.
Steve Reilly, Estimator & Project Manager. Handles estimates for larger projects and oversees production scheduling. Former commercial construction supervisor.
